SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. — The National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame will release The Racetracks of America: From the Pre-Civil War Days to the 21st Century, a 440-page coffee table book chronicling the rich history of America’s iconic racetracks, on Aug. 30. The book was produced in partnership with Keeneland Library with underwriting support from Stella Thayer and the Alfred Z. Solomon Charitable Trust. Casino Night to benefit the National Museum of Racing and PDJF Aug. 18 at the Museum

National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame names D.G. Van Clief and Josh Pons as Hall of Fame committee chairs

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. — The National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame has named D.G. Van Clief as chair of the Hall of Fame’s Contemporary Nominating Committee and Josh Pons as chair of the Pillars of the Turf Committee. The appointments were announced June 23 by Charlotte C. Weber, the board chair of the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame.

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. — The National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame is partnering with Saratoga Arms Hotel and the Saratoga Springs History Museum to present “Saratoga Springs: An Era of Change — The 2025 Trifecta Tour” on May 22. Focusing on the thoroughbred racing and social scene in Saratoga during the 1950s, this tour will feature expert historians presenting about this pivotal decade in the city’s history in fun and unique settings at each venue. Transportation between the venues is included and guests will enjoy snacks and drinks at each stop.
